Group Class Descriptions

Cardio Chisel

This is where great bodies are “chiseled”. Instructors will help you carve out those muscles with all kinds of fun equipment and dynamic moves. There are also cardio intervals involved so you’ll get the full package. (All levels)

Pi-Yo-Flow

Grab your mat and prepare for a different kind of mind/body class. This is a mixture of Pilates and Yoga in a flowing sequence designed to burn calories, strengthen, sculpt, tone and stretch. Leave your shoes and stress at the door and get your flow on.

6 Pack/Power to the Core

This is fifteen minutes of nothing but abdominal and core work. Guys, get in this class for a top notch mid-section workout. (All levels)

Sweatshop

A combination of cardio & easy strength training using various modes to achieve the optimal muscular and cardiovascular workout. Be ready to SWEAT! All levels.

S.E.T. (Strength Endurance Training)

A system using barbells and dumbbells to increase your muscular strength, which will assist you in your everyday activities. The workout is tough, the music is good, the fellowship is fun and the results are great! All levels.

Zumba®

Party yourself into shape! Zumba is fun, different & effective. The latin rhythms blended with the dance moves make for an awesome workout. Good music, great fun, great workout!! (All levels)

Zumba® Toning

This class blends body sculpting techniques and specific Zumba moves into one calorie burning, interval training class. Instructors use weighted maraca like sticks or light weights to enhance rhythm, tone muscles and increase cardiovascular health. (All levels)

Aquatic Class Descriptions

Hydro Groove

Are you ready to dance? Whether you are 18 or 80 this class is for you. Come join Maria for a fun dance-inspired workout that goes by fast! If you love Aqua Zumba®, then you’ll love this workout!! Suitable for all levels.

Aqua Fit

This 60 minute class offers a high intensity/low impact workout that will get your heart rate up and work your muscles. The cardio segments are shorter intervals of work, getting your heart rate up and then bringing it down with some resistance training. This class is recommended for all levels.

Aqua Cross and Kick

This class uses interval periods of cardio kickboxing and toning to give you a great total body workout. You won’t get bored because you won’t be doing this same thing for very long. It’s high on energy and long on results. There’s lots of variety and even more fun. This class is suitable for all levels.

Aqua Zumba®

This is not your grandma’s water class! This class blends latin rhythms with aquatic exercise for a great workout experience! Come and give it a try. It’s an experience you won’t forget. Suitable to ALL LEVELS.

H20 Cardio

If you love cardio then this is the class for you. Come and get your heart rate up as you move through various water exercises to some great music. The format may be different for each class, but you are guaranteed a great workout. We may even throw in some resistance training at the end. Suitable for all levels.

Saturday Splash

This is a one hour class full of variety. Each week one of the TFC Aqua instructors will take you through a vigorous water workout. Be prepared – it may be cardio intervals, cardio and strength intervals, or long-slow heart pumping cardio. The beauty of this class is the variety! Come and try it out! Appropriate for all levels.

Senior H20

Don’t let the name fool you – this is a hard core workout! Come enjoy this low impact workout with a mature group of folks! This class combines cardio and toning for a total body workout designed for seniors. It’s a great opportunity to get your body in shape and make some great friends! This class is appropriate for all levels.

Wet Work

Stretch out, warm up and then be prepared to “sweat wet” while you work in the water with a variety of fun power strengthening moves mixed with creative cardio. Finish with a calming cool down and that’s “working it wet”. Suitable to ALL LEVELS.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin-Inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music & dance movements. Zumba has all the great Latin music you expect and may incorporate mainstream music for a fun calorie burning class. Ditch the workout…Join the Party! All levels welcome.

Rhythm Remix

An easy to follow blend of classic aerobics and simple dance. Dance yourself thin with this fun, high energy workout. All levels welcome.

S.E.T. (STRENGTH ENDURANCE TRAINING)

A specially designed barbell/dumbbell system that incorporates weight training into an athletic workout set to powerful, motivating music. This workout appeals to men & women, from beginners to conditioned athletes. Each class works every major muscle group in the body; it strengthens, conditions,shapes, tones, and defines muscles. All levels welcome.

Core + More

This class will offer you core strength, flexibility, and much more. Joy will guide you in the use of many different disciplines as well as equipment to strengthen your core and more. All levels welcome.

Imax

Non-stop, ultra challenging workout guaranteed to make you sweat! The moves are pure “athletic” - straightforward and non-dancy. The moves will range from kickboxing, calisthenics, and plyometrics which will give you a total body workout. Exercise experience is recommended; however, modifications are shown.

Turbo Kick

The newest form of kickboxing is a super fun, high-energy, cardio program designed to strengthen and tone the entire body, with intense focus on the abs. The sweat will fly, the pace will quicken, and the calories will burn.

TGIF

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Sheri will take you through a different workout each week to start your weekend off right. Expect to sweat and burn major calories! Exercise experience is recommended; however, modifications are shown.

FAT BLAST

An easy to follow workout aerobic/anaerobic workout designed to maximize fat-burning without overstressing your body. Each aerobic/anaerobic circuit begins with a “base” move that’s followed by a faster-pace “power boost” which will lead to a recovery period which will focus on targeting specific muscle groups by using lights weights or resistance bands. All levels welcome.

PILATES

Traditional Pilates moves to enhance overall body strength, increase flexibility, improve alignment & balance. All levels welcome.

SIMPLE STRETCH

This 15-minute class is a combination of dynamic and static stretches to help you achieve total body flexibility. Leave this class feeling refreshed and ready to take on your next workout. All levels welcome.

YOGA FIT

This class is based on traditional yoga postures with the addition of weights to increase strength. A smart compliment to the yoga stretch class. All levels welcome.

YOGA STRETCH

This class includes traditional yoga postures with an emphasis on stretching and flexibility. All levels welcome.

STEP IT UP

A solid step workout with interesting moves and lots of variety. A fun workout designed to burn fat while challenging your mind and body. Exercise experience is recommended; however, modifications are shown.

SET

This workout appeals to men & women, from beginners to conditioned athletes. Each class works every major muscle group; it strengthens, conditions, shapes, tones and defines muscles. All levels welcome.

Sizzle Classes, T & T

Low impact conditioning and toning, using a variety of cardio styles and a variety of toning equipment. All levels welcome.

*AB classes

30 minutes of core body conditioning. All levels welcome.

T.F.C 500

Totally Fun Cardio! Get your workout and have fun doing it!! Great music, variety of cardio, and full body toning! We will burn at least 500 calories per class, usually MORE! ! (Est. Calorie burn based on ~150lb. person) All levels welcome.

Yoga

The yoga (path) focuses on bodily postures to improve meditation and strength. Popular as a means to better health, fitness, and relaxation: focusing on flexibility. Low impact All levels welcome.

Zumba® Toning

Party yourself into shape!! The latin rhythms blended with the dance moves make for an awesome workout!! FUN!!! All levels welcome.

SweatShop

A combination of low-impact cardio and easy strength.
